Paul Kreibich has been a mainstay on the jazz scene for many years. He has filled the drum chair for over 5 years with the late great pianist Gene Harris. Paul has played drums and/or recorded with such world-class artists as Ray Charles, Carmen McRae, Anita O'Day, Red Rodney, Mose Allison, the Woody Herman Orchestra, Gene Harris, Diane Reeves, Herb Geller, James Moody, Cedar Walton & Jon Hendricks. LUTHER HUGHES "CANNONBALL COLTRANE" PROJECT
Luther Hughes (B), Glenn Cashman (Ten S), Bruce Babad (Alt S), Ed Czach (P), Paul Kreibich (D)
Leader and former bassist to the late great Gene Harris, Luther Hughes re-creates the music and spirit of the greats, Cannonball Adderley and John Coltrane. The group will perform the original arrangements from the famous album, "Live in Chicago," as well as perform other classic tunes by "Trane" and Cannonball, along with band members' original tunes. Bruce Babad on alto follows the exuberant sound of Adderly, and tenor saxophonist Glenn Cashman efficiently presents the brilliance of Coltrane. Drummer Paul Kreibich and pianist Ed Czach provide an amazing solid rhythm core to support the fast-paced figures of the saxes. Not to be missed!

AUGUST 22
SWEET BABY JAI QUINTET
Sweet Baby Jai (Voc), Dale Fielder (S), Jane Getz (P), Jeff Littleton (B), Quentin Dennard (D)
Few entertainers can command a stage like Sweet Baby J'ai. She is a critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, arranger and actress who has toured the world with her distinctive sound. Some critics describe her as a "jazz singer," others as a "blues singer," but all agree that this versatile singer-songwriter is a "storyteller." Sweet Baby takes unconventional instruments, the washboard and spoons, and claims them as her own special sound. Whether singing a swinging version of a standard, a soulful ballad or a haunting original, she weaves her special magic through songs seemingly tailor-made for her intimate style. Sweet Baby J'ai is an artist that transcends jazz and broadens its audience to the masses.

AUGUST 29
